IMO, Wrong Section

To me this is more industrial than Trance. Well I still think it's pretty good but yeah.

Simple Amazing

Very Nice all around. Everything flows together and everything just sounds great. The only thing I have to say is that the clarity doesn't seem like it's exactly high res...I was thinking that you just exported it as like 96kbps or something around there so that you wouldn't have to chop your song to fit the whole thing on NG.

Anyways, if there is a high-res version I'd like it alot if you would send it to me at kmg_photo@yahoo.com! Thanks.

Pretty Sweet

Awesome song period. This song would be great for a rave and crazy lights to dance to. I really like the main synth or atleast the one that plays for awhile right after the intro.

Keep it up and throw a review my way.

Breath Taking

So I was just browsing through the top trance songs in the AP and click yours and as soon as the melodies and beats started pounding through my speakers I took a deep breath and felt an insane urge to get up and dance. Like rave style dancing and that is a-w-e-s-o-m-e! I know you worked hard on this man. Damn hard. Downloaded definitely and added to my personal favs. this beats some of the pro stuff i listen to. Just awesome 5/5.

ps. only suggestion...play the main melody more...It's addicting and it would increase the initial song length as well.

dj-Nate responds:

OK, I'll try it in my newest song im making. Thanks dude.

Good but pretty Ambient

So I admit this is really good and all but to me it seems like it should be in the Ambient section instead of techno, it's pretty soft rather than up beat and techish.

Good Job none the less.

Good point. It completely slipped my mind...

repetetive

Basically same as the big review I gave you. Okay, you seriously just need to listen to some pro quality trance and if you don't hear a difference you should forget composing music. You need complexity.

Needs Revising

Alright you wanted critique and I'm giving it to you. I'm gonna be completely honest...the fact that your my friend means nothing right now. Okay, so first off this isn't trance. Secondly you really need more instruments and what not going at the same time. Definitely alot more percussion. Generally you need some sort of kick through most of the song...not just bits and pieces. Your melodies need alot of work. I understand you haven't done this much but still. Also, you don't really see "guitar" sounds much in trance. Also your main melody at the beginning that sounds like a cheap horror film needs to go. There are better ways of putting a dark feel on your music without ripping off "dracula" or some black and white cheesy horror movie. Sorry dude for all the criticism but you needed it. Just go and listen to like a butload of trance songs, split each piece of the song up in your head...for ex. most songs have a kick, percussions of some sort, a "lead" which is the main melody...they have builds that lead up to the "leads" or main melodies...they have sound fx that occur at different times...they have bass lines...which is like a deep bass of some sort...they have many variations of the same melody so that it get's diverse. Use snare for builds...crashes as well...use hits and stuff. Just check out some Paul Van Dyk or ATB. Listen to that and break it down...try to recreate it but with different melodies.

Top Of The Line

Holy Hell this is awesome. I want to make something like this someday. This deserves to be number 1. 5/5 yo.

Check out my stuff and drop some reviews.

Dj-SilenT-HunteR responds:

You will make some like this one day.
Thx for the 5!
I'll check your stuff soon.

Awesome!

Very Nice...I'm in love. I would have liked to hear more of that one synth lead that comes in after awhile and then goes out but it's still good.

cornandbeans responds:

I probably should have thrown it in again. Oh well. Knowing me there's probably gonna be a version 2.0 :P Thanks for the review!

Not My Thing

You've definitely got talent, I'll give you that but scratched techno is really not my thing...I don't think it goes over very well at all. This song would have been much better without the scratches. The repeating beats or the "broken record" effect as I call it could stay but with less re-occurances. I liked the bg music alot but the scratches take away from the song way too much man.

I make trance, take pictures, and stuff like that.
